The Demon

[COMMENT] The Demon is another clone from Canada's Wonderland but there's is called THE BAT.. The stairs are there for saftey reasons just in case the train doesn't build up enough force to go through the corkscrews -- so they get the people off. HEY DEVIN	[COMMENT] Wonderland was sooooooo coooooooooooool i so wish it was still here. Oh well they didnt make any money so they closed it down so we couldnt have fun. What loooooosers. I thought Wonderland will open forever.

[COMMENT] wonderland was soooooo amazing.... i thinik ts coz i grew up there.. literally lol i was there every holidays with my friends n went on every ride over n over again! The demon was my fav, i was on it at just 8 or 9yrs of age!!! i was on here times in a row at the end of the day once! i will remember wonderland forever n ever,, hey it was a wonderland :) the demon was my favorite ride in the whole park!!it scared the s@!t outta me the first couple of times but i couldnt stay off it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I CANT BELIVE ITS GONE AND NOW HAS A WHOOSY NAME It scared the SALT out of you? [COMMENT] Y went to wonderland on Australia Day 2004, and was able to go on the demon 3 or 4 times in a row, little did I know I was actually pregnant at the time.... lucky baby! I bet the baby was even crying when they demolished Wonderland!!!! So was I.	[COMMENT] I injected heroin for the first time on this ride.you ****ed and that real old pic its 2009 and im goin i was already on behemoth
[COMMENT] I grew up in Sydney and loved going to wonderland on weekends with friends using our "wonderpass's" and now i live on the Gold Coast and none of the theme parks here come close to being as good as wonderland was. I was sad when i heard it had shut down.	[COMMENT] to think the demon is no longer there breaks my heart. i have never screamed so much as i did on that ride. ive been on the superman at movie world in Qld but that still dosen't compare to the demon. i miss you wonderland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[COMMENT] To dear owner of wonderland, please open another theme park in sydney with scary rides and rollercoasters. me and my friends used to go to wonderland every week end and now we can only go to luna park. the only ride i like at luna park is the dominator. if you do build another theme park plzzz put in the vomatron, hard rock, giant jrop, dominator and space roller thank you and please dont make me go to luna park for to much longer. [COMMENT] Them bastards.I was lucky enough to go the week before it closed and there were no people.You could sit on the one ride all day.I went on the Demon about 4 times in a row,best ride that was there apart from the Bush Beast(jeez that scared the crap outta me the first time round). I dont think those gits who destroyed it(and gave to America)understand how devastating it is for all of us who went there as kids(and adults) to hear it was gunna be demolished.I still cant help crying when i see these photos,i loved it so much. [COMMENT] Not a lot of people know this but a lot of old rides supervisors in the place actually etched their names into the back of the gravestones aound the Demon entry & exit, there were about 10 names etched into various stones around the place from supervisors dating back to 1995, right up untill the end.

[COMMENT] STUPID CANANDIANS GO BAK TO CANADIA why do you keep blaming John Howard for the closure of Wonderland? He and the Federal Government had nothing to do with it, neither did the State Government. It was privately owned land, and the owners simply decided the park was not making enough money to be viable any longer, so they sold it and shut it down. It's sad, but that's they way it goes. Sorry but you are wrong. It was the secret deal with the State Govt to re-zone the land to industrial (from its original tourism zoning) that allowed the sale to ING.
