1. Emergency Brakes: Two sets of brakes which initially slows the train as it enters the braking shed area. Also stops the train if the station is occupied, by the second train.
2. Trim Brakes: One set of brakes used to help slow or stop the train located after the emergency brakes.
3. Ready Brakes: One set of brakes used to slow or stop the train, just in outside the station area.
