Over the last 3 months a number of improvements have been made to the Wonderland History website and the infrastructure running it.
1) New website. A brand new Drupal 7 based website that allows easy creation of content and will last into the future. Members can comment on any of the content & use the forums. Advanced members can upload pictures and create site content.
Participants will enable IPv6 on their main services during the day, testing industry readiness and raising awareness of the migration that must take place to the new Internet Protocol.
Wonderland History have been fully IPv6 enabled since 2010 and are happy to participate in World IPv6 Day.
IPv4 is expected to run out in 2011 With less than five percent of the world's IPv4 addresses unallocated, the need for websites to transition to IPv6 has become critical.
The transition for most websites will occur over the next few years, and will undoubtedly cause some short-term disruption to the Internet.
Wonderland History is proud to announce that we have upgraded our servers and are running dual stack IPv6 and IPv4, as a result there will be no disruption to the website over the next few years for you.
