JB 7.6.97 - Attractions

On Sunday 1st June 1997 JB was Dock at the Snowy River Rampage between the hours of 1pm and

2pm when he admitted to riding on the Snowy River Rampage in uniform whilst on duty during rotation. The

incident happened in April.

By his own admission, JB did not follow the correct procedure as outlined in the attractions operational

manual section R2.5 stating “when you are relieved, move directly to your next position, movement between

rides is not an opportunity to have a break.”

LR - Attractions

JB has been fully trained and has passed all exams.

JB’s actions are in clear breach of AWL policy as outlined in Secrets to Your Success pg 34, “Canteen and

Break Area” stating that:

“You are on-stage every moment you are dealing with guests out in the Park.”

“You cannot be served at any food outlet, merchandise or games outlet or partake of any attraction whilst in costume.”

JB has been counselled by LR and understands that any further breach can lead to termination.
